I wish I could write a good review but unfortunately cannot. I made my appointment online chose a person by their profile. Long story short my hair was shorter then I would have liked color I could have done at home same results but tons less. To top it off I honestly thought that the tip like seamless or other sites would be taken off automatically because I usually always paid in cash never credit card. The hairdresser texted me on my phone asked me if I forgot to give her a tip. I honestly did I guess you can say assuming like I said that it was already included. I didn’t or that location will go back to scalper in other location didn’t know he’s still in company or would have done my hair he’s the best

Aztec proved to be the exception. He asked me how I wanted my hair cut and then actually did what I asked. The cut was terrific and has grown out well. Thanks, Aztec

Came in for a balayage on dark brown hair that already had one session completed to go lighter. She insisted I need full highlights instead, significantly more expensive than a balayage. The highlights are not blended, they literally have a hard stop. Not crazy about the color she gave me either she kept complaining the whole time about how hard it is to do my hair and how the color I wanted wouldnt look good on me. She also took 3 hours to foil my hair.. she moved extremely slow and used two pieces of foils instead of just using one and wrapping my hair in it (not sure if i explained that clearly but i get my hair done a lot and havent seen that technique in YEARS). Wont be returning . $400 down the drain thanks

On your web page there's a whole list of prices depending on the process done on your hair but in person is another price. I visited this salon thinking I was going to pay for wash, cut and style as per your advertisement prices it would not exceed $70. Well to my surprise I was asked for $90. Plus tax and the stylist just about finishing with me decided to use the flat iron very briefly not mentioning a $10. Fee. I believe what's advertised should be honored not last minute surprises. Don't think I'm going back.

REDD IS SO TALENTED! She made us feel comfortable, there was ease making the appointment and I thank the staff for being so accommodating to us. My daughter was over the moon with her new color and style. Redd is an artist at her craft! We will definitely be making the trip back. Thank you for making my daughter feel good about herself. To see my daughters eyes light up and be so happy with the results is truly priceless!

Literally phenomenal. I cannot say enough great things about this place. Brite gave me the most fabulous haircut. I chopped off 12 inches for donation. She styled my now shorter hair and gave me such amazing volume. I got so many compliments. Price was also extremely affordable for NYC. 10 stars. Thanks to Brite for making my hair gorgeous!

Dell cuts the hair of every member of my family (my husband, three daughters and myself). And we all LOVE him -- both because he cuts our hair beautifully (and colors mine gently) AND because he is just a great guy. Today, I went in and told him he had to cut my hair in a way that made me feel 50% prettier (I needed a boost given the I was starting to look a bit middle aged) -- and he really did it. He asked if I wanted to keep it long. When I said no, he recommended a cut to my shoulders (the shortest I have ever had since second grade). He showed me a picture and, upon my approval, he proceeded, all the while giving me confidence that this new style would do some magic. Do I look 50% better now? Not sure, but I can confidently say -- at least 30%.

She listens when I ask about a new hairstyle or color and makes suggestions to make what I'm thinking of work with my hair and face. She is truly an artist with color and is able to make subtle changes that have a huge impact in my look and self confidence. Her smile in infectious and her laughter will make your day. My adult children live across the country but insist on having her cut their hair whenever they are in town. She is, quite simply, family.

I have been coming to Dramatics on 72nd Street since I moved to NYC about a year and a half ago - my first two stylists moved on to other shops - really liked them both - and now have gone to Dell for some time for color, cut and styling...love what he does with my hair...I also love going to Dell because he is always in a great mood and we have great conversations...the shop is always lively and the stylists seem to love their jobs...since I am usually here once a month that is a big plus! Thanks everyone for making my time at your shop a pleasant one and for giving me the great styling Dell!!!

She is charming :) will listen to your needs, make appropriate responses based on what you want, give you gentle honest feedback, and recommendations and (tada) she transforms you into a beauty. She is awesome, I will give her 5 out of 5 stars. I leave always feeling beautiful, the next day and months, my hair still falls into place and look beautiful. :) yes, Charm is a talented, smart, thoughtful hair stylist !
